It was quite a sight to find this rather white haired young male sitting at the checkout desk of his library. His eyes bent down towards the book he read as his glasses neatly sat framed upon his face. He kept his elbow on the desk and his left hand was happily holding his head as it looked downward and read. He didn't doze at all, and it seemed that he was quite happy with what he read. A stack of books stood left of his figure. He continued to read, however, unknown to those who would look upon him, or approach him to check out a book, this young man was really not so young at all. Not only was he actually quite older in human understanding of age, he was also rather knowledgeable and had already read every book in his shop.
The truth about this man would not be known to anybody. His character hidden away and covered by the face that he put on and his rather old-fashioned method of dressing. His past life before the library was also unknown to any human on the earth. Nobody knew who he was, or where he came from. All anybody knew was that at one point the that small shop on the corner of a street in downtown Tokyo suddenly disappeared, the owner packed up and left and then a new library was suddenly put in there.
Ever since that day there has happened to be quite a good amount of traffic, whether it is because of the young (looking) owner who opens up shop every morning and makes sure to take care of his customers to help them find whatever book they need, or perhaps it’s because of the large scale selection of books that is housed in such a small shop. Ever since the shop opened that section of Tokyo was indeed getting more and more crowds.
occupation: Librarian (Also, since it isn't clear from the way I stated it, Hakumai is a rogue shinigami.)
wielder of death note: Kinda Sorta...
